Description: The Project Work Areas are a join of business data with a geospatial polygon that represents a project work area or multiple work areas. CTDOT business data sources are federated to the CPD (Composite Project Database) along with COMPASS (O365 SharePoint Project Management) information. The Project Work Area polygon(s) are representing the project limits. There are large administrative areas that are Statewide or Districtwide projects in which no LRS (Linear Reference System) project road sections or assets are identified. The local work areas are smaller areas where project road sections and major assets are collected with proposed work identified. Assets within work areas are tracked with proposed work identified. Filtered versions such as Active Projects and Completed Projects are filtered by the "Current Schedule Phase".
